| Paul Schiff Berman | An essay by Dean Paul Schiff Berman, "Gunther Teubner: A Generative Scholar for a Plural World," was published as part of a Festschrift volume in Germany.
In it, Berman honors Teubner, a German legal theorist and scholar of pluralism, and uses a recent legal dispute concerning state, federal and international court authority over a death penalty case to illustrate the benefits of a pluralist approach to such issues.
