The Lodestar Mediation Clinic provides students a unique hands-on opportunity to learn about the mediation process and its use as an alternative to litigation. After an intensive mediation training program focusing on the theory, strategy, and skills involved in the mediation of legal disputes, students act as mediators through the Maricopa County Justice Court’s mediation program acting as mediators in civil (non-family) cases where up to $10,000 is in dispute.
