Technology Resources for Students

Blackboard/myASU

Blackboard, also known as "myASU," is the online class support system used at ASU.  Many of the law professors use a Blackboard site in conjunction with their traditional classroom activities.  When you log into Blackboard (my.asu.edu) and click on "my ASU Courses," you will see the course sites for the courses in which you are enrolled.  If you don't see a particular class on the Blackboard site, please check with your professor or a fellow student to see if there is a site for that course.  Not all professors use the Blackboard system.

CALI - The Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction

CALI is a U.S. 501(c)(3) non-profit consortium of law schools that researches and develops computer-mediated legal instruction and supports institutions and individuals using technology and distance learning in legal education. Students receive CALI CDs at the beginning of each school year containing hundreds of lessons in a variety of legal topics.  These same lessons, along with newly created lessons, are available on the CALI website, http://www.cali.org/.  This is a great way to review or gain further understanding about a law topic.
