Michael J. Ahearn is the CEO and Chairman of First Solar, the manufacturer of PV Modules designed for large scale, grid-connected solar power plants
Brett R. Alldredge, of Visalia, Calif., was appointed by California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in May 2009 to the Tulare County (Calif.) Superior Court. He had served as a commissioner for the court since 1994, and has extensive experience practicing law both as a sole practicioner and with a number of other firms.
Mania K. Baghdadi works at the Federal Communications Commission where she is a Deputy Chief of the Industry Analyis Division of the Media Bureau, the division that addresses the commission's media ownership rules and major media mergers, among other things. She, and her husband Aslan, have 3 kids, none of whom is, or plans, to be a lawyer.
Neal J. Beets was honored by the Volunteer Lawyers Program as guardian services advocate for 2000.
Rebecca White Berch has been elected to be Chief Justice of the Arizona Supreme Court after having served as a justice on that court's bench for the past 7 years. Prior to that, she served as Solicitor General of the State of Arizona, Special Counsel to the Attorney General, First Assistant Attorney General, and as a judge on the Arizona Court of Appeals. Following graduation from the College of Law, Berch practiced law in Phoenix. She was director of the Legal Writing Program at the College of Law from 1986-1995.
Mark Bregman is the past president of the Scottsdale Bar Association.
Patrick J. Cunningham serves as deputy director at the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality. He has also served as chief counsel for the Environmental Enforcement Section and the Criminal Division in the Arizona Attorney General's Office, and as an assistant U.S. attorney in the Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Task Forse in Arizona, and as a captain the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps. In September 2009 he was selected as a leader of the year by the Arizona Capitol Times.
Carol Campbell Cure and her husband Harding Briggs Cure have a new Welsh Springer Spaniel named Toby so they are not "empty-nesters," even though their daughter Kelly Campbell, also an ASU law graduate, lives in L.A. where she works on the legal and business affairs staff of MTV.
Warren Granville now serves as a judge with the Maricopa County Superior Court - specifically hearing only death penalty cases. After spending two years in family court he had served hearing criminal cases. Prior to judicial appointment he had worked for 20 years as a state prosecutor handling mostly white-collar crime.
Helen Perry Grimwood is president-elect of the Arizona Bar Association. With Douglas Grimwood, they formed The Grimwood Law Firm, with an emphasis on business, commercial and complex lawsuits, financial fraud, accountant's liability, contracts, labor and employment, workers' compensation and employee benefits. She has also been elected a fellow of the American Bar Foundation, a research center for the empirical study of law, legal institutions and legal processes in society.
Glen Hallman a magna cum laude law graduate, re-joined Gallagher & Kennedy in 1999 from AlliedSignal, where he served as litigation counsel for its aerospace businesses.
