In Tempe:
- Mill Avenue District - Clothes, music, art - you name it. Plus a Borders Bookstore on the corner of Mill and 7th Street.
- Arizona Mills - Large discount mall located about 3 miles from ASU.
In the Phoenix Metro Area:
- Chandler Fashion Mall - Upscale mall located about 10 miles south of ASU
- Scottsdale Fashion Square - An even more upscall mall located about 10 miles north of ASU.
- Scottsdale Downtown - Interesting boutique shopping, including the world-reknowned Ortega Gallery, featuring authentic Native American art and jewelry.
- Biltmore Fashion Park - Located near the Bilmore Hotel, this shopping area includes high-end stores such as Ralph Lauren, Tommy Bahamma, and Escada.
