Adjunct Professor of Law
Troy Foster is an attorney at Rose Law Group, where his practice focuses on defending management and individuals in discrimination and wrongful termination claims. He has defended employers, including school districts and tribal clients, against claims of sexual harassment and age, race, gender and disability discrimination. Professor Foster’s practice encompasses review and revisions to company handbooks and policies, and day-to-day counseling on hiring, discipline and termination practices. He also has experience on the traditional labor side, having represented management in municipalities at all stages of the process, from drafting meet and confer/meet and discuss ordinances, to implementing those ordinances through the certification and decertification processes, negotiations, and drafting memoranda of understanding.
Prior to joining Rose Law Group, Professor Foster headed the Labor and Employment section of a Phoenix law firm, and also clerked for Judge Barry Silverman of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and Judge Edward C. Voss of the Arizona Court of Appeals.
His published works include "The Constitutional Defense Council," and he narrated a training video for employers about sexual harassment titled “Respect - The Universal Language.”
