Stacey Dowdell has been a visiting associate clinical professor since early 2008.  She teaches Legal Method and Writing and Legal Research and Writing.

Before joining the faculty, Dowdell was an attorney in Phoenix, where her practice areas primarily included appellate work, complex commercial litigation, and construction and surety law. Following her graduation from law school, she served as a judicial clerk for Justice Thomas Zlaket of the Arizona Supreme Court. As a law student, Dowdell was an articles editor for the Arizona Law Review, served as a writing teaching assistant, and earned membership in the Order of the Coif.
