CRIMINAL PROCEDURE – 2d Summer Session, 2009 – Professor Kader For our first week of class, July 6-9, we will cover at least Chapters One through Four (pp.1-114)from our course casebook, BASIC CRIMINAL PROCEDURE, 12th ed., Kamisar et al. For the first class meeting on Monday, July 6, read all of Chapter One & Two (pp. 1-54) & DANFORTH v. MN (USSC, 2008). We will focus on pp. 24-42. For Tuesday and Wednesday, read Chapter Three & Four (pp. 55-114), & ROTHGERY v.GILLESPIE COUNTY. We will focus on Chapter Four. A syllabus will be provided for the entire summer session by the first class meeting (which will include an occasional recent case not in our casebook, as Danforth and Rothgery above).
