Q&A: Royal Discusses Career, Life 

 

K Royal, director of Pro Bono Programs and Student Life at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, is K Royal 2_07 quoted Feb. 21 in The Arizona Republic in an article headlined, “Law school director praised.”

The story, by Luci Scott, discusses Royal’s background, motivation for attending law school and her duties as “a goodwill ambassador” for the college.

“We do some amazing programs,” Royal told Scott. “We’re expanding our free clinics for victims of domestic violence. And I’m working on getting more funds for law students so they can do more public interest work.”

Royal will be honored March 8 at the 2007 YWCA Tribute to Women Awards, where she will be named this year’s Education Leader recipient. The event, at the Arizona Biltmore, is open to the public.
