Law school presence in ASU's iTunes University

The Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law now has a presence in ASU's iTunes University.  Currently, there are three "subchannels" in the law school channel: Events, Ross-Blakley Law Library, and IT@O'Connor.  Each subchannel will contain audio and video recordings in those areas. 

The Events subchannel contains recordings from special guest speakers, conferences, and other events held at the law school.  The Ross-Blakley Law Library subchannel will soon feature a podcast newsletter chronicling all that is new and exciting at the Law Library.  The IT@O'Connor subchannel will contain a monthly podcast by one of the IT staff focusing on current and emerging technologies for the law school's infrastructure and for use in the classroom.

To access the law school iTunes channels, go to itunes.asu.edu .  Click on the large yellow "Go to ASU on iTunes U" button to open iTunes.  If you are at the law school, each time you restart your computer, it will have to go through a short configuration process.  You will find a short Flash tutorial on how to access iTunes U here:  iTunes Tutorial. 

The law school channel is located in the section labeled "Colleges, Schools, and Academic Units."  Find and click on the icon for the law school to open the channel.

For faculty who are interested in recording and podcasting their lectures for courses this fall, iTunes U also contains an area specific for class podcasts.  Those subchannels will appear in the "Courses: 2006-2007" area in iTunes U.  Only instructors and students who are enrolled in the class will be able to access those course podcasts.  Interested in podcasting your fall course at the law school?  Contact Laurie Ralston at 965-2048.
