The September edition of Arizona Attorney quoted Professor Jonathan Rose in a story about the upcoming conference of the American Society for Legal History. In the article, "National Legal History Conference Comes West," Rose told magazine editor Tim Eigo that the conference, the largest of its kind in the world, is a "real feather in the cap of the law school." The meeting, Oct. 25-27, will present 34 panels and more than 100 papers about the legal profession, the U.S. Supreme Court, ancient and Biblical law, gender and race and other topics. Typically, about 300 people attend to hear the panels which, this year includes "a group of superstars," said Rose, who is co-chair of the Program Committee and chaired the Local Arrangements Committee.
