K Royal, director of Pro Bono Programs and Student Life

     A feature story about K Royal, director of Pro Bono Programs and Student Life, was published in the Sept. 13 edition of the Arizona Business Gazette.
     In an article titled, "ASU law school graduate keeps promise," reporter Georgann Yara wrote about Royal's rough upbringing in the south and her escape from an abusive ex-husband, as well as her success at the College of Law and her track record in giving back to the community and helping other students. She recently was named one of the top pro bono attorneys in the state and was honored by the YWCA as an education leader.
     "I do what I do because it feels good," Royal said about her pro bono work.
