Youth Mentoring Board formed
10/01/2008
Youth Mentoring Board formed
A six-member Youth Mentoring Board has been established at the College of Law to coordinate and unify its various youth outreach programs and strengthen the College's ties to Valley youth and the community.
The board also will work to forge closer ties between the Maricopa County Bar Association and at-risk Valley youth by expanding the College's culture of service to the community.
The new board members are James Cool, 2L, executive director; David Chami, 3L, mentoring programs director; Sarah Barrios-Cool, 2L, mock trial/moot court programs director; Jamie Garfield, 2L, curriculum development director; and Alexia Peterson, 2L, and Michael Zimmerman, 3L, fundraising directors. The board is supervised by Kristine Reich, the College's Director of Pro-Bono and Community Outreach.
