Pat Gerrick, Director of the Volunteer Lawyers Program (VLP) and an ‘83 alumna of the College of Law, writes in an issue of the Phoenix Business Journal about local attorneys giving free legal advice to the public through the program she directs.

In her article, “Volunteer Lawyers: Great Stories – No Lawyer Jokes,” Gerrick gives credit to a number of attorneys who have provided pro bono services through the VLP and informs the public of the types of cases the program considers. The VLP is a pro bono program co-sponsored by the Maricopa County Bar Association and Community Legal Services.
