Cyberlaw book, co-authored by Berman, published by West
11/05/2010
Paul Schiff Berman
The fourth edition of
Cyberlaw: Problems of Policy and Jurisprudence in the Information Age
, which was co-authored by Dean
Paul Schiff Berman
, has been published by West Academic Publishing.
The law school casebook starts from the premise that cyberlaw is not simply a set of legal rules governing online interaction, but a lens through which to re-examine general problems of policy, jurisprudence and culture. The book goes beyond plugging Internet-related cases into a series of doctrinal categories, instead emphasizing conceptual issues that extend across the spectrum of cyberspace legal dilemmas.
Berman’s colleagues on the book are Patricia L. Bellia, Professor and Notre Dame Presidential Fellow at the University of Notre Dame Law School, Brett M. Frischmann, Professor at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University, and David G. Post, the I. Herman Stern Professor of Law at the Beasley School of Law at Temple University.
