Grewal quoted in ‘Republic’ article regarding the Fiesta Bowl
02/23/2011
Andy Grewal
, a visiting College of Law associate professor, was quoted in a Feb. 18
Arizona Republic
article entitled, “Bowl plans expenditures review,” by reporter Craig Harris.

Andy Grewal
Grewal, who specializes in federal tax law, said that the bowl’s potential political campaign involvement could endanger the organization’s non-profit status. The Fiesta Bowl is currently operated by four nonprofit organizations, giving it nonprofit status by the IRS, which allows the bowl to avoid paying taxes on most income.
