Paul Schiff Berman

Dean Paul Schiff Berman was quoted in State Press article entitled, “Law school hosts federal appeals court,” by reporter Tiffany Ngo. The U.S. Court of Appeal for the Ninth Circuit held its annual oral arguments in Armstrong Hall on March 1.

After hearing the oral arguments, the judges took questions from the students in attendance, which Berman said was a valuable opportunity to gain a greater understanding and insight as to what the judges thought.
“Seeing actual lawyers on their feet in actual cases, and then discussing the process with the judge afterward is an invaluable experience for students,” Berman said.
