Gartner to present paper during Vanderbilt roundtable
, Associate Professor of Law, will present his paper, “Innovative Governance and International Institutions: Global Health vs. Global Environment," during a roundtable discussion at the Vanderbilt University Law School on Monday, April 18.
The roundtable, hosted by Vanderbilt’s International Legal Studies Program, will feature five participants who will share and discuss their recent papers. Gartner’s paper focuses on how global health and global environmental issues have transformed international institutions and their relationships with states and non-state actors.
Gartner teaches constitutional law, international institutions, foreign relations law and global health law and policy. His current research focuses on the role of innovative international institutions and non-state actors in shaping international law and the response to global challenges in areas such as global health, development, education and the environment.
