College of Law student wins national legal writing award

College of Law student Cody Huffaker won the 2010-2011 Scribes Law-Review Award Competition for his article, “A New Type of Commandeering the Bypass Clause of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Stimulus Package).”

Huffaker, a 3L, accepted the award on Thursday, March 31, at the National Conference of Reviews in San Diego.
