Popko interviewed on Fox 10
, Director of the Post-Conviction Clinic at the College of Law, was interviewed by KSAZ-Channel 10 on Wednesday, April 6, about the pending case of Susan Brock, the wife of a county supervisor who has pleaded guilty to three counts of attempted sexual conduct with a minor.
During the interview, Popko explained that the case was especially unusual as it not only involves the wife of County Supervisor Fulton Brock, but also implicates their daughter, Rachel Brock, who is accused of the similar crimes with the same boy.
“To me, as a defense lawyer, the thing that is most striking about this case is that, most cases, it’s typically a male perpetrator, not a female perpetrator,” Popko said. “And then you have the added fact where the allegations are that the daughter was involved.”
