Eric Menkhus, Clinical Professor and Director of the Innovation Advancement Program, was quoted in an April 19 Entrepreneurship at ASU article, “Unique online legal service supports social entrepreneurs.”

The article discussed LawForChange, a new program that helps connect social entrepreneurs and pro bono lawyers. Since legal costs have become a significant hindrance to many social entrepreneurs, LawForChange works to connect entrepreneurs with the legal information and resources they may need. Menkhus encouraged social entrepreneurs to take advantage of online resources like this as well as networking with others in the field.

“It sounds like bland advice, but the best advice I can give is to network,” Menkhus said. “Innovators and social entrepreneurs should attend events where attorneys and other services providers will be.”
