Bodansky to lecture at U.N. climate change conference

Daniel Bodansky, the ASU Lincoln Professor of Law, Ethics, and Sustainability at the College of Law, will participate in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, June 6-17, in Bonn, Germany. Bodansky will give the talk, “Scenarios for Durban and Beyond,” during a workshop for senior climate change negotiators on Sunday, June 12. The workshop was organized by the Pew Center on Global Climate Change and the governments of Mexico and South Africa.

Bodansky is a preeminent authority on global climate change whose teaching and research focus on international environmental law and public international law. He teaches courses in international law and sustainability and is a key player in the College of Law’s new Program on Law and Sustainability. Bodansky also is an Affiliate Faculty Member in both the Center for Law and Global Affairs and the Center for Law, Science & Innovation at the law school, and is an Affiliate Faculty Member in the Global Institute of Sustainability’s School of Sustainability at ASU.
