Lynk leads ABA consultation team
Myles V. Lynk
the Peter Kiewit Foundation Professor of Law and the Legal Profession at the College of Law, is leading a team from the American Bar Association to New Hampshire to review that state’s Supreme Court Attorney Discipline Office.
At the request of the New Hampshire Supreme Court, Lynk, who is chairman of the ABA’s Standing Committee on Professional Discipline, and the team, are conducting a consultation from July 11-15. The team will provide a written report with recommendations on enhancing the office’s ability to accomplish its mission.
Lynk’s areas of interest include business and corporate law, civil procedure, legal ethics and professional responsibility, bioethics in health care and law and literature. He is a Faculty Fellow in the Center for Law, Science & Innovation’s Public Health Law and Policy Program, and an Affiliated Faculty in Justice and Social Inquiry, at the ASU School of Social Transformation. In 2008-2009, Lynk was a Visiting Honors Faculty Fellow in ASU’s Barrett, The Honors College. In 2010, he received the Outstanding Faculty Award from the College of Law’s Alumni Association. From 2004 to 2010, he served as ASU’s NCAA Faculty Athletics Representative.
