Breaux named Volunteer of the Month by Gilbert Public Schools
02/10/2012
College of Law events coordinator
Amanda Breaux
was named Volunteer of the Month by Gilbert Public Schools.
Amanda Breaux
Breaux and her husband Alonzo, who also received the award in June, were nicknamed the “Dynamic Duo”, said Principal Jodie Dean.
“They are always willing to lend both hands to any request made of them. Alonzo is known throughout the school for his superior barbeque skills along with his food service, and Amanda is known for her appreciation luncheon preparation - ensuring that the faculty has a delicious lunch provided for them every half day in order to maximize their planning time,” Dean said.
Breaux has been with the College of Law for 14 years. She said she was glad she has been able to balance working and volunteering, so that she could feel she was a part of her children’s education.
