A review in the Dallas Morning News says the book, Poetry and the Law, by Professor David Kader and alumni Michael Stanford, now at the Maricopa County Public Defender's Office, gives readers a thrill.
The book is described as the first serious collection of law-related poems ever published in the United States.
"David Kader and Michael Stanford, both lawyers, have set things right in the poetry anthology world," wrote Isabel Nathaniel, who won the Texas Institute of Letters Award for best book of poetry for The Dominion of Lights.
