A recent article in the State Press noted the formation of the Diane Halle Center for Family Justice and the NextCare Urgent Care Family Violence Legal Clinic.
The March 23 article, "Law students will represent clients through new family justice center," written by April Atwood, said the Center "will give law students the opportunity to represent actual clients with faculty supervision while earning school credit.
"What is unique about this clinic is that law students, nursing students, social work students and students from the school of family and social dynamics will be working together in a more holistic way, to work on the variety of issues faced by victims of family violence," Dean Paul Schiff Berman told Atwood.
