The Phoenix Business Journal recently reported on grants given to the College of Law for the Diane Halle Center for Family Justice and the NextCare Urgent Care Family Violence Legal Clinic.

In the April 23 article, "Grants given to ASU law school to help victims of domestic violence," reporter Angela Gonzales writes about two $1 million grants and an additional $100,000 given to the College of Law.

She also reported on the hiring of Sarah Buel, a professor at the University of Texas at Austin, as the faculty director of the Center.

"Sarah is the leading advocate in the country with regard to the issue of family violence," Dean Paul Schiff Berman told Gonzales. "Her arrival in July to run the center will automatically make the center a national leader on these issues.
