The College of Law was referred to in an article, "Obama's Efforts to Improve Teachers' Training Stir Old Debates," published in the Feb. 14 issue of The Chronicle of Higher Education.

In it, reporter Libby Nelson writes that ASU education majors are taking more courses in subjects they intend to teach, under a university-wide effort to make teacher training more rigorous and effective. For example, "the law-school dean is writing a civics curriculum for aspiring elementary-school teachers," Nelson reports.
