The Daily Courier in Prescott recently featured an article about students from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law bringing a 'Justice Bus' to Prescott Valley on March 20 to provide free legal advice and services.
The article, which ran on March 3, titled "Law students coming via 'Justice Bus' to dispense advice,' quoted student Mary Juetten, who said that about 25 law students will arrive, supported by practicing attorneys, to help low-income taxpayers to prepare income tax returns and help first-responders prepare wills. They also will conduct seminars on consumer protection and applying for unemployment benefits, she said
The Justice Bus is made possible with the support of the Shoumaker family, the Law Student Division of the American Bar Association and other partners, Juetten said.
