In assembling a roundtable panel of some of the oldest and youngest attorneys in Arizona to discuss the evolving state of law practice, the magazine of the State Bar of Arizona chose as one of the participants Amanda Ho, a 2007 alumna of the College of Law. Ho, a utilities regulatory attorney at the Arizona Corporation Commission, was quoted in "A bar for the ages," a story in the September edition of Arizona Attorney magazine, which commemorated the 75th anniversary of the Bar. The question-and-answer interview conducted by editor Tim Eigo encompassed a wide variety of topics, including law-school training, a typical day at the office, the importance of diversity in the legal profession and how law school has changed. "Even more so than the classes," said Ho, thinking about her experience at the College of Law, "the internship opportunities that you have in the summer or in the school year, the externships and internships, those really help me a lot in my practice."
