The March 2 event was part of a colloquium series co-sponsored by the U of A's Center for Middle Eastern Studies, the School of Government and Public Policy, and the Program on Law in Society. The Program on Law in Society promotes cross-disciplinary research, teaching and discussion, and partners the James E. Rogers College of Law with four university departments: Anthropology, Philosophy, Psychology and Sociology. The Program develops and supports law school courses, presents a colloquium series, awards faculty research grants, and sponsors the Global Society & Justice Workshop.
