Lynk to participate in ABA meetings
Professor Myles Lynk will attend and wear several hats at the 2008 annual meeting of the American Bar Association, Aug. 7-12, in New York City.
Lynk, the Peter Kiewit Foundation Professor of Law and the Legal Profession at the College of Law, will attend the conference as a Section of Business Law Delegate to the ABA House of Delegates and as a member of the Section of Business Law’s governing council. He also will participate as a member of the ABA’s Commission on Racial and Ethnic Diversity in the Profession.
Lynk recently was asked to sit on the new officers’ Selection Committee of the National Conference of Bar Presidents, which will meet just before the ABA conference begins.
Lynk is a former chairman of both the ABA Special Committee on Bioethics and the Law and the ABA Section of Business Law’s Committee on Community Economic Development.
