The Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University will host the 2008 AALS Dispute Resolution Section Works in Progress Conference on Friday, Oct. 24, and Saturday, Oct. 25.
     As its name suggests, the conference provides an opportunity for dispute-resolution scholars from across the country to present projects in their early stages and get input from others who teach and do research in the dispute-resolution area.
     According to Art Hinshaw, Director of the Lodestar Dispute Resolution Program, "the conference showcases a vast and impressive range of emerging work in the field." The conference, in its second year, will take place in Armstrong Hall on the campus of ASU.
