On April 10, Professor Zachary Kramer presented the Clason Lecture at Western New England University School of Law. The title of Professor Kramer’s lecture was “Of Meat and Manhood: Vegetarian Discrimination and Gender Stereotyping Under Title VII.” The lecture was based on two of Kramer’s scholarly projects—“Of Meat and Manhood,” which was recently published in the Washington University Law Review, and “The New Sex Discrimination,” Kramer’s current work in progress. The Clason Lecture is an endowed speaker series named after an influential dean of Western New England University School of School, Charles R. Clason. Kramer teaches and writes in the area of antidiscrimination law, focusing specifically on issues relating to sex and sexuality discrimination. He joined the faculty in 2010 from Penn State Law.
