An article in The New York Times, online March 7 and in print on March 8, detailed the new nonprofit law firm that the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law plans to launch this summer.

In the article by reporter Ethan Bronner, Dean Douglas Sylvester said that he was inspired to create an experience for law students similar to that of medical students, “a teaching hospital for law school graduates.”

The ASU Alumni Law Group will hire up to 30 graduates to work under seasoned lawyers and provide low-cost legal services to the underserved and other ASU entities.
