Garreau interviewed on C-SPAN
was featured on C-SPAN in a segment titled “Life Expectancy Rate and Impact on Married Couples.”
The segment was filmed during a talk Garreau gave at the Washington Post headquarters in Washington, D.C., as part of the Future Tense project.
Garreau is co-director of Future Tense, a partnership of Slate, the New America Foundation and ASU, on emerging technologies, public policy and society.
In his talk, Garreau examined four different scenarios human beings might face as life expectancy continues to increase.

Garreau is the Lincoln Professor of Law, Culture and Values, and Director of The Prevail Project: Wise Governance for Challenging Futures. He also is the author of Radical Evolution: The Promise and Peril of Enhancing Our Minds, Our Bodies, and What It Means to Be Human.
