In the article, titled “Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer’s Ban On Driver’s Licenses For Undocumented Immigrants Likely to Wind Up In Court,” Eng explores the Arizona Supreme Court’s option to challenge the executive order issued by the governor in August.

Brewer’s order “includes those undocumented immigrants who are approved to stay and work in the U.S. for another two years under the federal government’s new Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program,” Eng wrote.

Cruz said she expects a legal challenge because the order might conflict with federal statutes.

“Whenever you have something murky you’re going to have a lawsuit,” she said.
