Gubler's paper awarded prize at GW Law School workshop

Zachary Gubler’s
working paper, titled “Public Choice Theory and the Private Securities Market,” recently was awarded second-place prize for best paper at The George Washington University Law School’s Center for Law, Finance & Economics’ Junior Faculty Workshop.

The article was recognized from the 80 papers that were submitted and 12 papers that were selected for presentation at the workshop, which was attended by corporate and securities law professors from institutions around the country.
Gubler joined the ASU law faculty in 2011 after having spent two years at Harvard Law School as a Climenko Fellow. Prior to transitioning to the academy, he served as a law clerk for Judge Richard C. Wesley of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and worked as a corporate associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York City. He graduated in 2005 from Harvard Law School, where he served as an articles editor of the
Harvard Law Review
