Kris Mayes

Kris Mayes, Faculty Director of the Program on Law and Sustainability, will co-host the Solar Energy Policy Seminar, sponsored by the Professional Science Master’s in Solar Energy Engineering & Commercialization of the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering and ASU LightWorks, in Tempe.

Mayes will host the Nov. 15 conference with Tom Alston, Solar Outreach and Policy Coordinator for Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.

Mayes, who has a Masters of Public Policy from Columbia University and a J.D. from the College of Law, helped co-author the Arizona Renewable Energy Standard while serving on the Arizona Corporation Commission from 2003-2010.
