Hessick to speak at memorial master class series

Andy Hessick
Professor Andy Hessick, Associate Dean for Research and Faculty Development at the College of Law, will speak at the 2011 Linda Haskell Memorial Master Class on Friday, Nov.4, at the University Club in downtown Phoenix.
Hessick will offer legal insight on the case, Mendez v. Westminister, a 1946 federal court case that challenged racial segregation laws in Orange County, Calif., and determined that placing Mexican-Americans in separate schools is unconstitutional.
Hessick teaches Evidence, Civil Procedure, Administrative Law, Legal Process, the Supreme Court in American Politics and Judicial Remedies.
