Stuart interviewed for Discovery Network segment on Buddhist temple massacre

Gary Stuart
, Senior Policy Advisor for the College of Law, was interviewed extensively for an upcoming Discovery Channel Network program on Arizona’s 1991 Buddhist temple massacre.
Stuart is the author of
Innocent Until Interrogated
, which explores the police-induced false confessions in the case.
The television program, “Golden Buddha,” is part of the “Wicked Attraction” series on Investigation Discovery, or ID, a television network owned by Discovery Communications. It features documentary-style programs about criminal investigations.
The hour-long show will air on Thursday, Aug. 18. In Arizona, Cox will broadcast the segment at 9 p.m. on Channel 104.
Stuart earned degrees in business and law at the University of Arizona. He joined Jennings, Strouss & Salmon in 1967 and has tried more than 100 jury cases. He serves as an adjunct professor at the College of Law and at the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona, and also served an eight-year term on the Arizona Board of Regents.
