M.L.S. Degree Requirements
Flexibility in course selection is a hallmark of the M.L.S. program. To provide an introduction to legal reasoning, the M.L.S. candidate is required to take U.S. Law and Legal Analysis, as well as Professional Legal Writing. In addition, the M.L.S. candidate must successfully complete at least two of the following foundational law classes:
Contracts
Constitutional Law
Criminal Law
Property
Torts

A full-time student can complete the degree in one academic year. A part-time student may take up to 3 years to complete the MLS program.
