Welcome to The Career Strategy and Professional Development Mentoring Center

Our Career Center makes every effort to work with your individual profile and to assist you in locating job and career opportunities that match your law career interests. The Center is a good place to help you decide what type of legal, quasi-legal or alternative job interests you and to begin a search for clerkships and permanent positions. The secret to getting a position, however, is you: your initiative, your effort, your creativity, your enthusiasm. The qualities that help you locate and then land the job are the same qualities employers seek.

This website provides comprehensive online career resources and has a variety of features that can be of service to you. The Overview of Services link provides a brief description of the general services provided by our office and the College of Law. Under Online Career Library at the side menu, you will find detailed websites providing at-a-glance advice as well as access to our in-depth handouts and multimedia content that can help you with both setting and achieving career goals.

Please remember, you will get the most out of your visit with Career Services by updating your Profile in Symplicity, our recruitment and career management database. Doing so tells us more about you and allows us to deliver enhanced/directed content that is appropriate to your interests.

We look forward to partnering with you as you journey into the law profession.
