While the College of Law offers a strong general curriculum, the Indian Law Certificate Program distinguishes ASU from other institutions. The Indian Law Certificate Program allows a student to establish a specialization in the field of Indian law. To obtain this Certificate, a Juris Doctorate (JD) candidate is required to take at least 21 hours of classes that are relevant to the practice of Indian law, write a substantial paper on an Indian law topic, and complete practical work experience in the award-winning Indian Legal Clinic.
