Fourth Annual Workshop on International and Transnational Law

Unlike previous years, this year’s annual workshop was a roundtable discussion on Steven Ratner’s book project for Cambridge University Press, The Thin Justice of International Law. Leading international lawyers and philosophers were invited to review an advanced draft of the manuscript and provide feedback to Prof. Ratner on what promises to be a major work dealing with key issues at the intersection of international law and ethics.

This book offers a new approach to global justice that integrates the work and insights of both disciplines.  It offers an analysis of the international legal order through the lens of contemporary ethical theories.
