1L Research and Writing Tutorials

Librarians at the Ross-Blakley Law Library have worked with your Legal Method & Writing professors to produce a number of short tutorials that highlight research resources available to you at the Law Library. The tutorials cover both print resources and online databases that your professors think will be particularly useful to you as you complete your research and writing assignments this year. The tutorials are all less than 10 minutes long and are available in Flash.

  • American Law Reports (ALRs) (6:48)
  • Digests (7:44)
  • Finding Cases (6:53)
  • Finding Law Review Articles (10:31)
  • Law Library Catalog (3:45)
  • Secondary Sources (6:36)
  • WorldCat (3:10)
