Frequently Asked Questions
Get Involved
Whether you're interested in competiting or volunteering, Moot Court has an opportunity for you to get involved. We're also always looking for attorneys interested in judging our internal competitions.
As a Competitor
Competing is easy! Informational meetings are held before each internal competition, where you can learn about the specifics of the competition, how to sign up, and the deadlines.
As a Client/Timer
A great way for students to participate without competing is as volunteer timers, which is a great opportunity to be in the room observing the student competitors and the judges' feedback. Plus, there's pro bono credit and free dinner. Additionally, students are needed to role play as clients in our Client Counseling competition.
As a Judge
Local attorneys serve as Moot Court judges. We are always in need of passionate attorneys willing to volunteer on the weekday evenings of our competitions. Attorneys are provided with dinner and can obtain a pro bono hours certificate.
