Frequently Asked Questions
Volunteer as a Judge
Moot Court is always seeking attorneys to be volunteer judges for our internal competitions. All competitions are held on weekday evenings in the law school (Armstrong Hall) on ASU's Tempe campus. Attorneys are provided a free dinner and a pro bono hours certificate is available upon request.
There are many benefits to volunteering with the Moot Court program. Providing feedback to the student competitors helps the next generation of attorneys develop advocacy skills, and can lead to mentor relationships. Volunteering is also a great way to meet other students, other attorneys, and network. The time commitment is minimal; we ask that you read the competition materials in advance and come prepared to give critical feedback.
