Kittrie awarded MacArthur Foundation grant

Professor Orde Kittrie has been awarded a $185,000 grant from the MacArthur Foundation for a project titled, “Combating Criminal Involvement in Nuclear Trafficking.” The grant is shared between Kittrie and Professor Louise Shelley of the George Mason University School of Public Policy, who is the co-principal investigator.

Professor Ira Ellman is quoted in an article, “The End of Alimony” in the May 27 issue of Time magazine. The article, by Belinda Luscombe, discusses efforts around the country to eliminate permanent alimony, including a bill that passed the Florida state Legislature but was vetoed by the governor.
