Professor and Dean Emeritus Paul Bender was interviewed on Channel 5 about the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision on the Affordable Care Act, on Thursday, June 28.

“If Arizona goes along with the federal government’s offer to fund at 100 percent for a couple of years, and then at 90 percent, a large expansion of Medicaid, a lot of people will be covered for medical care who are not covered now, and that’s a really important thing for this state,” Bender said. “The other parts of the law are good for everyone.”
